Since 1957, Community Health Charities® has been the leading federation of the most respected health charities. Unlike many organizations in the employee giving space, Community Health Charities® is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, governed by a national board of directors that includes representatives from charities in our network. More member services.
Community Health Charities offers immediate access to more than 1,200 businesses for workplace giving, including Fortune 500 businesses such as American Express, JPMorgan Chase and UnitedHealth Group. With volunteers and staff covering more than 40 major markets, we are well-positioned to meet the multi-geographic needs of both our business partners and the charities in our network.
Our experienced staff can file the necessary paperwork to participate in the Combined Federal Campaign, the world's largest workplace giving campaign, on your behalf. We also have local expertise and established relationships to help place your charity in state and municipal campaigns. We have a 100% success rate in managing application appeals for the charities in our network.
Our collaborative approach removes the burden of hiring and training staff, allowing the charities in our network to commit more resources to the important work of their missions. Workplace giving is often reported as the most efficient form of fundraising. In part, this is because employees often set their gift amounts and leave them in place for years at a time.
With Community Health Charities, you will reach more than 15 million employees with your message through established employee giving campaigns. Unlike any other workplace fundraising program, our signature Health Matters at Work® program creates year-round visibility for charities in our network.
Community Health Charities is committed to delivering employee engagement programs that translate into lasting relationships for our charities, not just processing an employee's contribution. We partner with businesses to execute a wide range of services in cooperation with the charities in our network, offering a wide variety of cost-effective, revenue-building fundraising activities that engage workplaces throughout the year.
The charities in our network must meet our accountability standards each year, including accounting standards set by the Better Business Bureau Wise Giving Alliance, as well as the Standards of Excellence established by the National Health Council. You can join our network with confidence, knowing you are represented with only most trusted health charities.
Tax laws and other government regulations can significantly impact both public and private sector workplace giving. Community Health Charities advocates for high accountability standards for charities o maintain the confidence of all donors.
