Health Matters at Work® programs in the National Capital Area is a comprehensive web and workplace-based health initiative that helps businesses, employees and families to prevent chronic disease as well as deal more effectively with chronic health conditions.

Health Matters at Work® Programs
Programs now available in the National Capital Area:
- Webinars and podcasts -- Resources to educate you on the causes of specific diseases and how to help you manage a healthier lifestyle at work and at home; how to manage the emotional issues that result from living with or caring for someone with a chronic disease or condition.
- Workshops, Professional Lecture Series, Health/Charity fairs -- A single point of contact- coordinating the communication between CHC member charities and on site activites.
- E-News -- Monthly newsletter to stay up to date on health topics, support and services in the local area, volunteer opportunities and healthly recipes.
- Resource Navigator -- The Resource Navigator is a search tool that allows users to connect with national and local health organizations, community resources and information about key chronic diseases and conditions, including invaluable resources on how to prevent and live more successfully with chronic diseases and conditions.
- DVDs and streaming videos on critical subjects such as employer strategies for improving the bottom line, key prevention information, coping/living successfully/being productive with chronic disease and caregiver/family issues and strategies.
