Care Giving

Care Giving

A parent with dementia, a child with asthma or allergies – when you have a family member with a chronic disease, disability or other serious health condition, it affects your health, too.

It’s a huge responsibility to care for a chronically ill or disabled loved one, particularly while working outside the home. Where do you turn for reliable health information and the crucial support and services you need? How do you provide the best possible care without neglecting your own health or your job?

Providing your loved one with the best care and support is important to you as a Caregiver. In order for your care-giving experience to be as successful as possible, it is important that you have access to the best care giving resources and information you need, for you as well as for your loved one. The Caregiver section provides you with services, programs and educational materials and resources offered through our member charities that focus specifically on care giving.
