Connecting workplaces with trusted health charities

Return to Health Matters

The three words no one ever wants to hear: you have cancer . Yet each year, over 1.6 million people hear these words from their doctor. A cancer diagnosis is overwhelming both physically and emotionally, and it often impacts a person’s entire network of family, friends and co-workers. A cancer diagnosis can be especially difficult for working adults, who often have questions about when and how to tell their boss, what will happen to their job and other concerns.

Whether you have cancer or help care for someone who does, knowing where to turn for credible information and support is an integral part of recovery.
